New Outdoor Heat Exchanger Suitable for Telecomms Cabinets

The new CLIMAGUARD™ Outdoor Heat Exchanger from McLean Cooling Technology is designed to provide reliable closed-loop cooling to electronic equipment cabinets. This robust heat exchanger removes up to 3000 Watts of enclosure heat and features a double-crimped and dip-sealed core, ensuring maximum protection against leaks in harsh outdoor environments. Suitable for either outside surface- or internal recess- mounting to an enclosure, the unit provides a tight seal for protection against infiltration of air and water.

CLIMAGUARD™ Outdoor Heat Exchangers are engineered to seal out harsh environments, including temperature extremes, corrosive elements, and wind-driven rain. These robust units feature a wide range of cooling capacities, and are compatible with 48VDC and 230VAC power supplies. DC-powered units offer variable-speed blowers as a standard feature for quiet operation.

CLIMAGUARD™ Outdoor Heat Exchangers are UL Type 12/3R/4 and Telcordia GR-487 capable to meet the demanding standards of the telecommunications industry, and every unit is functionally tested.

CLIMAGUARD™ Outdoor Heat Exchangers may be used in a broad range of applications, including telecommunications cabinets and shelters, outdoor process control cabinets, instrument enclosures, wastewater treatment control cabinets, and many others.
